Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Opioid Treatment Program provides comprehensive outpatient treatment and recovery services for individuals who have an opioid use diagnosis using methadone prescribed by a licensed physician. In addition to medication assisted treatment, provides cognitive behavioral and psycho-educational counseling services in an individual, group and or family setting.
The Theapist I manages a predetermined caseload in an outpatient setting which involves the assessment evaluation of incoming clients, individual, group and family counseling, educational sessions and discharge/aftercare planning for clients.
