Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
The Revenue Cycle Manager is directly responsible for all fee based revenue received by the agency and has a vital role in the agency's delivery of quality services, especially managed care services, the agency's public image.
Primary responsibilities include:
- All aspects of the agency's billing and reimbursement (accounts receivable) system, a system that generates over thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) in annual revenue.
- Direct client billing, Medicaid, Medicare, and private third party payers.
- Obtaining entitlement eligibility for clients.
- Financial reporting
- Maintenance of a complex automated billing system
- Preparation of policies and procedures for clinical staff.
