Share Email Opening Title Van Driver  Position Van Driver   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Base Wage $11.00 per hour   Description Summary The Van Driver transports children, adults, and cargo in a 15-passenger van through the Rock Island community. This position will serve to transport to and from public schools, field trips, and all other required deliveries to other locations. This position will be responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and upkeep for the van. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Maintain a neat, organized, and hazard-free vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is never left unattended at any time while transporting children. Ensure sanitary and safety procedures are followed by all adults and children. Assist children on and off the vehicle if needed. Ensure all vehicle paperwork is accessible and current such as registration, insurance, and accident protocol. Ensure compliance of rules and regulations with the Department of Transportation (DOT). Identify, address, and ensure the proper maintenance of the vehicle is current and in good condition at all times.
