Traffic Plan also offers the sale and rental of traffic control equipment, including attenuator trucks, message and arrow boards, traffic drums, construction signs, barricades, barrels and cones.

Position Requirements:

Traffic Plan is seeking a Human Resource Manager with at least eight plus years’ experience in high volume Human Resources. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources for the company, experience in employee relations, recruiting, employee benefits and policy writing as well as other aspects of HR. The qualified candidate shall provide enhancements that will support the Company’s growth such as planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs and practices. The qualified candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills. The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work independently and exercise complete confidentiality with all work content.

 

Essential Functions

  1. Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  2. Provide benefit administration for medical, dental, FSA, life, voluntary life and 401(K).
  3. Manage the compliance of all FMLA, and disability leaves.
  4. Create, modify and implement Human Resource policies, protocols and procedures as required.
  5. Process all new hire paperwork.
  6. Manage all Workers Compensation cases.
  7. Create and manage job descriptions.
  8. Oversee performance management review process.
  9. Manage employee relations and grievances for union and nonunion.
  10. Assists with recruiting for all positions.
  11. Supervise human resources and recruiting professionals.
  12. Create and implement employee handbook, to ensure company policies are enforced and administered fairly and consistently throughout all locations.
  13. Represents the company for any unemployment claims.
  14. Conduct Exit Interviews for non union employees.
  15. Manage employee retention and referral programs.
  16. Keep update with current employment law for NJ, PA and VA
  17. Administrate drug and alcohol program for non-DOT.

  9. Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
  10. The ability to research and analyze various different type of data information.
  11. Must have the ability to make recommendation to effective resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
  12. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
