MedData is seeking a Content Marketing Manager.

 

This position may be worked virtually from a remote home office.

 

The Content Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing the company's content strategy. This includes consistently generating a wide variety of original, compelling, high-quality content for presentations and also for a variety of online platforms, social channels, sales tools, client communication and other media. He or she will also be responsible for contributing to the development of the company's messaging strategy for all of the company's marketing deliverables.    

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key contributor for company content strategy that will leverage and build upon existing initiatives to meet aggressive online and sales goals.
  • Create original content, ?with a focus on the development of effective sales presentations and visual elements to be used in other channels.
  • Develops messaging strategy to promote company's services and effectively engage the target audience. 
  • Collaborate with various departments and teams to plan, create, and publish a mix of value-driven content.
  • Develop campaign project plans, including assigning tasks and deadlines to team members in order to drive project progress.
  • Research and curate industry-related external content highlighting interesting content produced by third parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing, public relations, or related communications field.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with success in creating content strategy for a mid-size business to support growth goals.
  • Expert knowledge of presentation formats, layouts and philosophies needed to achieve outlined goals with target audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to organize and prioritize work across a team of contributors; experience with agency or in-house creative project management preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce content on a variety of industry related topics that generates engagement and qualified leads.
  • Demonstrated examples of using ROI and online engagement data to measure and improve content.
  • Strong copy editing, copywriting and oral communication skills. 
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage to deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and nurture relationships with subject matter experts, in the industry.
  • Ability to identify relevant subject matter of interest for a particular audience.
  • Familiarity/experience with marketing tools and project management platforms (MS PowerPoint, Basecamp, WordPress, Pardot, InDesign, etc.)
