Description

The Senior Logistics Analyst (Logistics and Maintenance) will provide key information integration role for field personnel at domestic supply branches, the maintenance sub-contractor, and Air & Marine personnel.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Provide technical resolution for logistics, supplier management and related risks and impact assessments for CBP’s Office of Air & Marine’s Fixed and Rotary wing assets.
  • Monitor aircraft readiness report for equipment failures and coordinate efforts with suppliers to expedite needed parts to field branches.
  • Track all parts returned to vendors worldwide for repair. Ensures equipment is returned on schedule.
  • Coordinates with vendors to ensure parts are delivered on-time, reduce, and resolve delivery delays, confirm parts availability and expedite as needed to reduce aircraft-on-ground.
  • Analyzes aged inventory to identify parts for potential excess or disposal to reduce carrying stock levels.
  • Coordinate efforts to resell excess materials to recoup costs for program in accordance with FAR regulations.
  • Streamline CARMAC database to identify inaccurate part substitutes, to reduce duplication of parts entries, to increase ordering accuracy, and gain cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure aircraft, aeronautical, and support equipment component configurations are correct and that all essential modifications have been incorporated in CARMAC database.
  • Works with the national maintenance contractor to ensure equipment is properly identified and processed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Assesses National Maintenance Contractor for compliance with service contract and adheres to all required regulation compliance as related to inventory management and procurement and reports findings to the designated government representative.
  • Conceptualize and create ad hoc reports and provide detailed situational analysis as required by Director, Logistics & Maintenance.
  • Assist aircraft acquisition teams through location of government owned parts required to retrofit and upgrade aircraft to meet current specifications.
  • Assist COTR with special projects, deficiency analysis, and research as assigned.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
