Description

JOB SUMMARY:   Work involves a wide variety of involved clerical operations, requiring the interpretation of broad guidelines. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Performs moderate level administrative functions (word processing, presentations)
  2. May assist with discovery process
  3. Delivers subpoenas
  4. May assist in preparing and gathering evidence
  5. Assists with statistical reporting
  6. Establishes, maintains and updates the filing system
  7. Compiles reports; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents
  8. Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents
  9. Assists with notifications to clients
  10. Performs other general clerical duties (typing, filing, distributing mail, etc.)

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:  N/A

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Comprehensive knowledge of and skilled in office administrative procedures.  Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Law experience preferred

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree and some law school.  Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and/or other office applications.
