What You Will Be Doing

Our therapists work with individuals across the lifespan with a wide array of issues including behavioral health diagnoses, autism, and developmental disabilities. We believe in providing trauma-informed, evidenced-based care to treat the whole person. This position is responsible for providing behavioral health treatment, including assessments, counseling, and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

 

 
Position Requirements

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or related field.

Required Licensure/Certification 

  • Licensed through the State of Ohio as a LSW/LPC/MFT/LISW/LPCC/IMFT.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • One to two (1-2) years of social work experience in a school or community setting, working directly with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience working with people with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working with people with mental health conditions.

Special Skills and Requirements 

  • Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and support agencies.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients/family members.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Transports clients as needed; operates own vehicle.
  • Required valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record - fewer than five points.
