Share Email Opening Title Design Engineering Technician  Category Design Engineering   Description Summary: Provides technical support to the Design Engineering staff in the development of new products and processes. The role supports control of engineering documentation in the creation of BOMs, quotes, and ECOs. Working directly with the Design Engineering staff, Support the design, development and modification of both new and existing products Support the design, development, and modification of both new and existing product tooling Prepare technical reports and articles as needed under the guidance of the Design Engineering staff Support validation and verification of design and development projects through Engineering prototypes and First Article as required by the program Support the transfers of new or modified processes and products into manufacturing. Apply mechanical engineering principles in routine design, modification and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical components or systems Support communication with team members and staff in other departments on technical and non-technical matters effectively Support Design Engineering with 3D CAD software for the creation and or modification of designs and tooling Provide documentation support through BOM creation/input into Autodesk Vault Professional Provide documentation management support of ECOs for the Design Engineers department Provides documentation support through quote creation/input via the PDQ process at the guidance of the Design Engineering staff Other duties as assigned   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Open Date 8/25/2021   Location Rohnert Park   About the Organization LEMO is a privately owned Swiss company, located in Sonoma County among the rolling hills of Northern California's wine county, centrally located just 45 minutes north of San Francisco.
