Respite Providers offer families a much-needed break from their care-giving. Respite Providers assist with personal cares, teach daily living skills, provide supervision, and companionship to children.  ROUTINE DUTIES Respite Care Specialists are responsible for providing quality care, activities and personal care to children ages birth through 17 years old with special needs Companionship and activities Personal care and supervision Meal planning, preparation, and assistance Medication and charting Occasional assistance with virtual learning   Position Requirements   QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years or older (unless enrolled in related college degree program) A kind, compassionate, and caring demeanor Be dependable, responsible, and reliable Applicants must be interested in working with children and/or children with special needs.
