Description

Assertive Professionals is seeking a Data Research Project Manager to support our National Security Customerin Springfield, VA.

This is aFUNDEDandIMMEDIATEopening!

The salary range for this position is between $125,000-$135,000 and based on meeting or exceeding the requirements with a$1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus. There is an additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for this position.

Additionally, we offer an excellent benefits package, including PTO, 401k Match at 5%, Profit Sharing, Company paid Life Insurance, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, and two options under a national medial plan with employe contribution.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Organize, direct and coordinate the planning and execution of NGA research projects, to include the development of research proposals
  • Design research efforts to address specific business needs
  • Monitor projects and report regularly on progress
  • Develop research materials based on scientific best practices
  • Collaborate with statisticians to develop data analysis plans for research efforts
  • Interpret and summarize research results
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on methodology and research practices
  • Applies latest research methods and designs
  • Offers guidance and recommendations on questions of research methodologies as needed.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance and ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline that includes 24 credit (36 quarter) hours Mathematics, Science and, or a related Engineering Science
  • 8 years of totalwork experience
  • 6 years of specialized work experience
  • 5yearsexperience conducting operational, test, and evaluation research
  • 1yearconducting research in an organizational setting (government, industry, non-profit, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases
  • Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements
  • Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases
  • Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
  • Possess basic working knowledge of statistics and/or data science
  • Experience developing schedules for complex projects and programs, and leading small to mid-size teams in executing these efforts
