Seeking to hire a Full - Time Program Manager for the ISC Program

 

Job summary

  • Assists the Vice President with development of clinical and administrative outcomes
  • Responsible for program development; develops department goals and works on development of work-plan to achieve said goals 
  • Provides leadership within team structure
  • Assumes responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all administrative functions for each team
  • On-call as an administrative and clinical resource to staff for consultation and support
  • Provides clinical guidance and supervision to clinical staff through group supervision, individual supervision, in-service training and case conferences
  • Responsible for ensuring the provision of individual, group, family and specific group counseling/therapy to clients and their families, as needed
  • Available to assist staff whenever clinically appropriate
  • Works with Case Managers to provide both coverage in group homes and driving coverage, as necessary
  • Ensures staff coverage of scheduled therapeutic and activity-oriented groups
  • Provides emergency coverage through mandating and other means but in the event all options are exhausted is expected to work in Partial Care until coverage is found
  • Ensures coordination of treatment services between the department and both internal and external providers
  • Conducts evaluations of client’s appropriateness for the Programs
  • Performs case assignments
  • Facilitates clinical staff meetings and provides direction/guidance to staff and ensures the department is compliant with all applicable standards, documentation is complaint with all applicable standards
  • Ensures medical appointments are made ongoing with consumers
  • Participates in all areas of discharge planning, including arranging follow-up visits with a mental health professional, communicating with insurance companies, and providing help with housing transportation, vocational guidance, legal assistance, support groups, medical care and referral to other services or agencies
  • Oversees the coordination of benefits
  • Acts as an advocate for the client in ensuring continued quality of care and access to social services.
  • Provides and ensures clinical oversight for all team clients by ensuring that all cases are appropriately assessed on an ongoing basis and developing comprehensive treatment plans through the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensures and assist in structuring a therapeutic milieu
  • Reviews referrals to assess clinical appropriateness for the program
  • Ensures the completion of psychiatric evaluations and office visits are completed timely post ER and Hospital discharge
  • Maintains communication with hospitals to ensure intake process is completed thoroughly and within timeframes consistent with policy and procedures
  • Participates in special projects, trainings and committees throughout the department and agency at large
  • Ensures completion of monthly reports/surveys as assigned by the Vice President
  • Works with the Vice President to monitor department budget and tracks income in relation to budget goals

 

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Mental Health or behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Two (2) years experience in providing treatment services to adult psychiatric population is desirable
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by Agency's automobile insurance
