Job Summary

North Texas Area Community Health Centers, Inc. (NTACHC) is the only nonprofit community health center in Tarrant County with three centers (Arlington, Northside and Southeast (Fort Worth). Our mission is to improve health and wellness through accessible, compassionate, and quality healthcare services for all.

We are a community family medical practice that offers a full range of primary and preventative healthcare services to our patients. We use a patient-centered approach to help patients make the best decisions for their health. Our team of highly qualified, dedicated medical professionals work closely with patients to ensure that they receive the care they need to get well and stay healthy.

NTACHC is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to advance the organization’s mission. If you have an interest in how a nonprofit organization function and the opportunity to wear many different hats – all with a specific goal to increase awareness of an organization – we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for day-to day marketing and communication efforts and coordinate creative new ideas for our health care nonprofit organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being creative and taking the initiative.

Provide direction and management in the position’s duties with utmost care, compassion, and integrity in supporting the quality of care for the patients and the community.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and maintain marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
  • Design and create digital ads to help support departmental marketing needs (and fundraising events such as North Texas Giving Day)
  • Design and launch email marketing fundraising campaigns
  • Design and launch text and email campaigns to patients
  • Maintain website design and operation
  • Coordinate and manage Northside community room including community room agreements
  • Manage all communication including MOUs with Community Partners
  • Create and maintain organization literature and other forms of communication
  • Collect patient stories for different initiatives including public relations
  • Assist with new provider marketing, bios and promotion for social media, etc.

Public Relations & Social Media

  • Working with public relations/social media consultant promote the organization through public relations initiatives
  • Working with public relations/social media consultant manage NTACHC’s social media assets, including campaign ideation and execution
  • Develop and manage media relationships and coordinate/manage press interviews including logistics
  • Research media coverage and industry trends
  • Help NTACHC build meaningful relationships with key journalists

 

General

  • Develop and manage monthly report of ROI (Return on Investment) on Marketing and Communications efforts
  • Create quarterly social media report
  • Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects
  • Increase operational efficiency and help set up and improve workflow processes when and where needed
  • Maintain Marketing Plan and workflow reports

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and layout/design skills are essential

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in social media and digital media
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and team player with a positive and professional approach to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, and NTACHC health care team
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.)
  • Understand confidentiality and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and moral standards
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally in the nonprofit field
  • Must be dependable and able to represent the organization in a professional manner
  • Passion for NTACHCs mission and making a difference
  • Ability to recognize and respect cultural diversity of patients
  • Capable of using experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Think strategically regarding ways to promote NTACHC in Tarrant County
  • Work well with others and under pressure

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising.
  • 2+ years’ marketing, advertising or graphic design experience.
  • Experience in health care a plus.
