For returned product, sorting, and reworking of product for customer delivery or recycle/return to factory. The role reports to department leaders to ensure customer demands are met and executed in a timely and professional manner. These positions are PT Seasonal roles at 30 hours a week beginning September 1, 2021. There are 2 schedules available: Schedule 1 Monday - Wednesday from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and Thursday from 5:00 am - 10:30 am Schedule 2 Tuesday - Thursday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and Friday from 5:00 am - 10:30 am ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND OTHER DUTIES Receives material inbound to warehouse via all modes of transportation from vendors, customers, or other distribution centers accurately and promptly. Verifies the quantity and description of materials received and shipped. Sorts product by type and places in storage. Locates and picks products from warehouse storage based on individual and bulk orders. Prepares individual and/or bulk items for shipment (packaging, shrink-wrap, labeling, etc.) Performs duties on the rework and oil packaging lines. Keeps a clean and orderly workspace. Adheres to all safety and warehouse rules. Will be required to operate equipment (e.g. manual pallet jack, tape machine, tape gun and banding machine). Other duties as assigned.   KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills Ability to pick orders, process returns, stack and relabel cartons. Ability to us handheld SKU scanners (handheld and stationary) to process orders being picked. Moderate computer skills to work with electronic warehouse systems. Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrate attention to detail and being results driven Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to maintain a friendly working relationship with a diverse team and leadership to promote productivity and maintain an attitude of positive service Can accept and offer constructive feedback comfortably while maintaining good working relationships Demonstrate consistent on-time arrival to work, returning from breaks and meal periods timely, manage time-off appropriately.   Position Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience General Warehouse knowledge is desired   WORKING CONDITIONS Must be willing to work in all areas within the warehouse Temperature will fluctuate depending on the season. Must be able to withstand different noise levels and repetitive sounds. Level of noise in the work environment can be moderate to loud depending on work volume. Must be willing to work overtime. Overtime is generally available Monday – Wednesday due to heavier eCommerce volumes and sometimes required. During our busy season overtime work is available and may be required, including some weekend work.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to perform routine and repeated tasks. Ability to lift 30lbs comfortably and repeatedly. For product exceeding 30 pounds, team lift is required. Product can weigh up to 72 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk distances, be able to work in different weather conditions (hot and cold) The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and attention to detail.
