Share Email Opening Title IT Technician  Category Technical Support   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Headquarters   Position IT Technician   Description Summary/Objective The IT Technician will be the first point of contact for IT Support, responsible for assigned ongoing technical projects, and internal infrastructure development. Conduct server maintenance, configuration and backup using Microsoft server platforms. Conduct wide area networking maintenance, including routers and hardware, using domain servers and active directory. Remain current on all technology or changes as needed. Work with end users on all aspects of technology for desktops, laptops, applications, desk, and mobile phone functionality. Perform new user workstation setup. Microsoft Office 365 and network administration. Manage network and data security including troubleshooting network and security issues. Oversee technological asset and end user allocation. Ensure company data and infrastructure are protected with appropriate security controls. Document technical troubleshooting and diagnostic processes. Aide in the development of policy changes. Manage and maintain AWS maintenance. Document Smartrise architecture. Conduct project research and development for IT Department.   Position Requirements Competencies Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Theoretical knowledge with ERP/MRP and CRM. Ability to conduct data analysis. Ability to seek assistance and plan effectively. Proactive approach to workload. Possesses an enthusiastic attitude. Highly motivated and hardworking. Great attention to detail, proactive and conscientious. Efficient troubleshooting abilities. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Supervisory responsibilities N/A Work environment The work environment includes primarily working indoors in an office space. Physical demands Includes prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift and/or move 20 pounds.
