Share Email Opening Title Vice President of Operations  Description Role & Responsibilities Reporting to the President and responsible for the overall execution of Operations Strategy for the business, setting and driving Extant Aerospace in a 20%+ YoY growth model Will be responsible for overall productivity strategy and execution within the business Functional responsibilities will include supply chain and production control/planning Responsible for hiring, developing, and building the operations leadership team Will partner with leaders in creating a culture and work environment that supports the business strategy, encourages employee engagement, and inspires performance excellence Must diagnose opportunities to improve the performance of the organization utilizing tools to measure organization effectiveness Will be viewed as an organizational change agent Will help set the tone for Extant's Business Culture Ideal candidate will be: Interested in future upward mobility and potentially taking a larger role within the business or other TransDigm businesses Emotionally intelligent and able to build strong trust with leaders and employees of diverse backgrounds and situations at all levels Collaborative, marked by transparency and flexibility, with a commitment to building strong teams An exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear, concise, and courageous in giving tough but supportive feedback when needed Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, nimble and responsive in the short-term while driving progress on longer-term initiatives Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 15 years direct industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer to 20 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
