Job Title: Cultivation Driver/Greenwaste Tech Supervisor
Location: Quincy, FL
Salary: Regular Non-exempt.
The Green waste and driver supervisor oversee and ensure teams are distributing products and work materials promptly to our sites and operation partners. They will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and satisfaction. They will ensure teams is being professional and productive.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The supervisor will be responsible for drive team moving products between Trulieve facilities and various locations throughout the state. The supervisor will be expected to work various hours with possibility of irregular shifts and days.
Greenwaste and driver supervisor will insure both teams are abiding by DOH regulations and Trulieve company policies.
Coaches, reviews,?trains,?and oversees the Cultivation drivers and waste destruction.
Oversee all aspects of the transport and destruction of green waste.
Make routes and time schedule to keep up with fast pace and ever-changing needs. Insure green waste team is destroying product in proper accordance with DOH regulations and operating safely in an efficient manner.
Make sure teams are loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating a delivery vehicle properly and efficiently. Insure Greenwaste equipment is being operating properly and safely.
Complete logs and reports for transport and green waste along with uploaded to proper tracking system.
All other duties as assigned.
Managing employees and employee relations between sites.
Must be capable of operating equipment or driving truck if necessary.
Supervisor will be responsible for green waste and transport paperwork and compliance documentation.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Coach and Progressive discipline employees that aren’t abiding by rules and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills. Proven working experience as a Driver, with at least 5 years’ experience in commercial delivery. Able to operate farm and heavy equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license along with a good driving record (no violations) record.
CDL license strongly preferred.
Must have complete open availability.
Prior experience operating commercial box trucks and farm equipment.
Possess the ability to engage with personnel professionally and respectfully, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High school diploma.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers (Moderate noise).
Able to handle heavy loads and weight displacements.
Able to manage employees and critical thinking.
Must be technologically proficient.
Must be able to operate farm and heavy equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Florida Drivers License, CDL Strongly preferred
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
