Location HDT (Spokane, WA)  


Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Supervises the activities of all on - site maintenance personnel.


  • Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled and scheduled repairs of production/custodial equipment during production
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnoses problems, replaces/repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments
  • Repairs/replaces and layout new designs for electric following NEC regulations
  • Develops and follows a regular PM schedule for all shop machines, equipment and plant facilities
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Acquires and/or designs and builds equipment as needed
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Position Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience; Associates degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance a plus.


Five years of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment with focus on Preventative Maintenance Management preferred; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC; able to operate of small power tools and other hand tool; knowledge and understanding of all OSHA requirements for all equipment; experience with Lean Manufacturing implementation desired; tow motor and crane certification is required; experience in automotive repair and/or wood working a plus.


  • Works independently, is self-motivated and success driven, yet able and willing to take direction
  • Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with vendors and employees/managers at all levels within the company
  • Able to work additional hours as needed
  • Able to meet quality standards of work and complete projects in a timely manner
