Share Email Opening Title CAD Traffic Control Plan Designer (Quality Control Plan Checker) – (Civil/Traffic) (Corona, CA)  Description Designing and drafting temporary traffic control plans in AutoCAD 2D Software for the construction of establishing traffic control plan ss scope and parameters in the public right-of-way using standards as defined by the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH) including the implementation of basic traffic design principles. Proficient in identifying existing underground utilities, monuments & property markers. Possess the ability to comprehend utility, parcel and surveying maps and have the level of expertise to recommend alternative layout options as per current field conditions and client specifications.   Position Requirements Job Requirements: Knowledge in the use of AutoCAD 2D or higher Ability to use Google Earth Maps to locate work areas, manhole and aerial locations and/or the ability to read utility, parcel and surveying maps. 3+ years of AutoCAD 2D software experience (preferred) Knowledge of the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH); Latest editions for both manuals Knowledge of Traffic Engineering principles as it pertains to temporary traffic control. Designing various lane and road closures on City Streets and Freeways Ability to work with the Governing Agencies for permitting process.
