Staff Coordinator - Autism Services Program

Learn more about Easterseals UCP Core Values:     We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Full-Time Staff Coordinator to support our Autism Services Program. 


The Staff Coordinator serves as a critical member of the ABA/Autism Services administrative support team by overseeing coordination for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees entering the ABA/Autism Service line. The Staff Coordinator is mission-forward in establishing cultural standards and expectations of all staff within the service line. The Staff Coordinator communicates effectively about ABA therapy, our core values that differentiate us from our competitors and sets clear expectations about staff being hungry, humble, and smart. The Staff Coordinator also is responsible for maintaining all staff documents to ensure compliance with ESUCP and funder requirements. Additionally, the Staff Coordinator works with community partners to develop staff recruitment pipelines across the state of North Carolina. The Staff Coordinator will assist in monitoring Autism Services' key performance indicators and metrics.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact between ESUCP and prospective employees and community recruitment sources.
  • Conducts phone screens, interviews, and hiring for prospective autism and registered behavior technicians.
  • Galvanizes prospective employees and community partners the ESUCP services model, mission, and unique aspects of the program.
  • Facilitates seamless hiring and onboarding of staff, and transition to the clinical team and scheduling coordinator.
  • Provides a client-first, compassionate, and culturally sensitive experience for staff.
  • Creates and manages staff accounts in program databases and EHR systems needed for agency and program activities.
  • Maintains up to date staff records in the electronic filing system, ensuring compliance with ESUCP and payor requirement
  • Ensures all clinical staff meet the necessary payor requirements for credentials, documentation, training, and health. (Transcripts, CATS, BACB, CPR, etc.)
  • Coordinates new hire and ongoing trainings virtually in cohort settings with the clinical and administrative teams.
  • Meets regularly with the clinical teams and Scheduling Coordinator to determine staffing needs (e.g., availability, experience, etc.)
  • Meets regularly with the ESUCP Talent Acquisition team to strategize recruitment efforts.
  • Submits staff credentialing requests to ESUCP credentialing department for all active payors.
  • Networks and expands relationships with existing community partners to improve staff referral pipelines through increased communication and reoccurring meetings
  • Ability to create and grow new community partnerships across the state of North Carolina to attract new talent utilizing remote modes of communication i.e. Zoom, cold calling, emails, etc.
  • Implements and represents ESUCP policy enthusiastically.
  • Represents ESUCP professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend regular administrative meetings or other meetings at the discretion of the Operations Manager or service line director(s).
  • Communicates program policy and policy violations to the appropriate party.
  • Maintains employee privacy in accordance with ESUCP policy.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • And other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements


  • Have a High School diploma/GED/equivalency from an accredited (USDOE or CHEA) institution, with 2-3 years related experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory administrative management experience.
  • At least two years experience with conducting interviews.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience maintaining electronic documents for payor compliance.
  • Experience using EHR systems.
  • Must have reliable transportation that will allow movement throughout the program delivery area.
  • Must have a valid state Driver’s license, good driving record, and valid insurance
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, including clarity and articulation of thoughts, appropriate grammar, style, form, and punctuation.
