We're seeking a Principal Consultant who is a highly experienced professional with demonstrated technical depth and breadth in security testing. This individual will advise team members about best technical practices and is able to expertly and efficiently deploy NetSPI methods, standards, and tools.

A day in the life of a NetSPI Principal Consultant:

  • Perform web, mobile, and thick application penetration tests
  • Perform external, internal, and wireless network penetration tests
  • Create and deliver penetration test reports to clients
  • Collaborate with clients to create remediation strategies that will help improve their security posture
  • Share technical expertise and best practices for various service lines
  • Assist with scoping prospective engagements, acting as a lead on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members
  • Research and develop innovative techniques, tools, and methodologies for penetration testing services
  • Help define and document internal, technical, and service processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the community through the development of tools, presentations, white papers, and blogs
  • Other duties as assigned

The experience you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Math or the Sciences
  • 5+ years of work experience with penetration testing including network, web or mobile application
  • Experience with offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testing
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Up to 25% travel

If you have any of the below, that would be a plus:

  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Perl, C, C++, Java, and C#
  • GXPN, GPEN, OSCP, CISSP, GWAPT or similar certifications
