Position Overview
We are looking for a Rockstar product manager who can use innovative approaches to position our data center products and services for our sales channels and customers. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual obsessed with customer excellence, excited to work with different parts of the organization, and always hungry for knowledge.
You are detail oriented and able to fully articulate our products’ value proposition and champion the products cross-functionally. You will collaborate vertically and horizontally within the organization, requiring you to sometimes be the diplomat, the moderator, or the skeptic; and you know how and when to turn collaboration into action.
As Outbound Product Manager, you are responsible for maintaining product information, ensuring all collateral remains relevant and up to date with current and future market conditions. You will ensure the sales team has the most current product information, acting as the gatekeeper to collateral, documents, processes, and procedures concerning products at NTT Global Data Centers; and you will lead initiatives with other teams in the organization to continually optimize these product materials.
This role is cross-departmental and requires successful communications with all areas of the company, most specifically:
Marketing: Your closest confidants collaborating on go-to-market strategy, articulating positioning, customer targeting, and market verticals and segmentation
Sales: You will work closely and train with sales to ensure they can effectively communicate product value propositions, use cases, and solutions
Construction/Design: You will ensure we are building what customers and the market need, and collaborate to ensure schedules and building constraints are understood
Implementation: You will work with teams responsible for delivery and installation of the products to ensure they have correct material, descriptions, and requirements
Executive Team: As the product expert, you will be able to disseminate relevant data and craft messaging to organization leadership about the products and business strategy
This position may work on-site in one of NTT’s offices (multiple locations), remotely, or a combination of both. Some travel is required (no more than 25%).
