Therapist needed for full-time, temporary position in Philadelphia County.
The Primary Therapist will provide quality direct and indirect patient care to individuals with co-occurring disorders including a history of trauma. Provide individual counseling services to clients with co-occurring disorders. Provide group psycho-education. Conduct assessments to document the history and identify preliminary issues for treatment. Provide group and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
Provides Crisis Intervention, assessing clients and providing therapeutic interventions, making an appropriate referral for service. Performs documentation activities in a timely and accurate fashion adhering to State and Local Licensing laws well as policy requirements regarding the format of documentations. Works with staff, clients, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful, and effective manner.

MSW with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy/counseling. Inpatient experience preferred. Must be able to address and prioritize multiple task demands within an established time frame with experience working with the adult drug and alcohol population. Good written and oral communication skills; skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention; skills in the provision of group and individual psychotherapy; skills in maintaining information as highly confidential. |
