Summary:  Pacific Trust Company L.L.C. (“PTC”) is a Washington state chartered, independent trust company. The Compliance Associate will support PTC’s Associate Counsel/Compliance Officer to ensure that all compliance work is completed in an accurate, timely manner. They will provide administrative support to review and complete required documents for PTC and our clients.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the execution of all compliance related requirements of the Company. Including the maintenance of PTC’s compliance tracking system to ensure all tasks are completed and that the tracking system’s compliance requirements are updated as necessary.
  • Administer and maintain Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-money Laundering Compliance programs, including processing Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), OFAC Sanction List checks, FInCEN 314(a) checks, and documenting Know Your Client and Client Due Diligence requirements.  
  • Aid in the facilitation of new client onboarding processes from a compliance perspective to help ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and adequately documented.  
  • Support the preparation for, and execution of, all company audits.
  • Review and analyze trust documentation, agreements, and contracts; Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Research, prepare, and compose thorough and accurate, memorandums, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Assist with the launch of a second location in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years in a compliance or legal environment with a focus on client experience and operational excellence, preferred.
  • Experience in project management or driving task completion, preferred.
