General Laborer - Seasonal

Under the direction of the Creative Scenic Supervisor the Magical Forest General Laborer is responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. Also for the general maintenance of The Magical Forest, installation and general repairs, installation and maintenance of displays and lighting. There are evening hours and weekend responsibilities with this position that may require extended hours.

  1. Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements.
  2. Operate industrial power equipment as well as electric and conventional hand tools
  3. Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate.
  4. Perform general maintenance (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical systems and/or landscaping).
  5. Responsible for preventive maintenance on the Magical Forest.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  7. Responsible for keeping property secured.
  8. Must be able to work flexible hours.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements


  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, co-workers and supervisors (verbal and written).
  • Must possess social perceptiveness to assess and understand other’s reactions and behaviors.
  • Ability to use hand tools competently and safely.
  • Must encompass professional demeanor.
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, gain knowledge and have initiative.


  • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Required: One (1) to three (3) years verifiable work experience.
  • Preferred: Current Driver’s License
