At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities. The Brand and Creative Professional will have a deep knowledge of branding, graphic design and marketing techniques. Under the direction of the Creative Services Manager, the Brand & Creative Professional will maintain and execute Blue's brand promise, message and standards across all touch-points internally and publicly creating global awareness both traditionally and digitally. They will develop, design and produce creative and branded artwork for print and digital ads that will help drive growth and be a catalyst to position the credit union as a leader in our marketplace. Align and help Creative Services Manager manage agency of record as we maintain our position as being the best credit union. This position also focuses on: Under the direction of the Creative Services Manager and applying previously defined brand structures, maintains and executes Blue 's brand promise, message and standards across all touch-points internally and publicly increasing global awareness. Develops and produces branded artwork for branch merchandising, events, exhibitions, swag, sponsorships and logo wear. Lead designer on all print, campaigns, public relations, presentations, signage and digital ads (including member newsletter, statements, annual report, and website graphics). Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with cross-functional team. Convert Bl information into strategic design. Recommend design techniques to improve look and feel of the graphics so that we have a WOW factor in the marketplace. Works with Creative Services Manager on exponential creative ideas that will help CU to take leaps. Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services , printers, etc. Ensures the quality of the graphic work before it goes for final production. Plans concept by studying information and materials. Stay updated on latest industry trends on brand awareness , graphic design and development techniques by reviewing professional publications and conducting research.   Compensation: $24.26 - $36.39     Position Requirements EXPERIENCE: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Skills in advanced software programs including: • Adobe Suite including lnDesign • Microsoft Office Suite• Thorough understanding of color theory, typography, layout, branding, and iconography.• Knowledge of graphic design techniques, marketing and advertising as well as computer-based software to enhance this knowledge. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A college degree. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
