Description

Your Role

As the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will report to the IT Director. You are a skilled problem solver, experienced Salesforce administrator and architect, and collaborative member of the Information Technology Team. You will be able to audit the existing Salesforce architecture and business processes and determine where Urban Teachers will simplify and streamline processes. Additionally, you will determine where Urban Teachers can build out and enhance processes to meet its critical goals.

You will possess strong Salesforce skills in the following:

  • Architecture
  • Designing automation
  • Writing and maintaining effective documentation

You will assess and implement enhancements that will improve efficiency, quality, and reliability of work. In addition, you will work closely with stakeholders to define system requirements and business processes. You will also design and maintain security and permissions.

This job is essential for ensuring that staff can collect, store, and access key data and information via Salesforce. Urban Teachers depends on reliable and accessible data to ensure we are delivering quality and equitable training to our participants, outreach to recruitment prospects, stewardship and cultivation of our donors, evaluation, and reporting on performance. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will play an essential role in these efforts.

Target Start Date: October 18, 2021

Location: Preference is Baltimore, DC, or Dallas. Remote work is an option.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage Urban Teachers’ Salesforce architecture to ensure the platform meets organizational goals and work needs
  • Contribute to Salesforce roadmap for Urban Teachers
  • Manage Salesforce integrated products, including Pardot, EnrollmentRX, YesWare, Mogli, FormAssembly, and DocuSign
  • Design and audit Salesforce automations, including workflow, process builder, flows and advanced flow work
  • Maintain architectural integrity for Urban Teachers’ Salesforce org
  • Design and maintain Salesforce security and permissions.
  • Engage in thoughtful discussions with UT teams for build out of and use cases for Salesforce
  • Project Management of large or significant Salesforce-related projects
  • Proactively keep up with Salesforce releases
  • Create and maintain documentation of Urban Teachers’ Salesforce org
  • Support IT Department as needed
 
Position Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a similar or closely related role
  • Demonstrated success in designing Salesforce architecture with a strong history of meeting and exceeding goals
  • The ideal candidate would have the following skills/abilities
    • Documentation writing
    • Salesforce architectural design and build out
    • Implementing declarative functionality
    • Customizing business processes
    • Project management
    • Communication
    • Collaboration
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification a plus
  • Salesforce experience in recruitment, admissions, and/or education a plus
  • Experience with Dataloader.io, Mogli SMS, Service Cloud, and DocuSign a plus
