All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Duties to include, but not limited to: Create and / or maintain computer generated information including tooling inventory Organize and maintain tool storage area and related documentation Maintain and update tooling and maintenance logs Clean, measure, and inspect tooling / gauge damage and ready for repair or replacement. Inspect or measure finished workpieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as gauges or micrometers. Provide tooling related and / or conformance related information to Management Staff as directed Contact suppliers to obtain new or replacement tooling, and maintain conformance, and / or certification documentation from suppliers. Confer with other APG locations via meetings, phone calls or emails, to coordinate tooling builds and refurbishment. Provide a backup resource for Engineering, Quality, Production and Maintenance duties as directed Other duties may include, but are not limited to sorting of product, deburring of product, tending to molding and sizing presses and furnaces. Maintain housekeeping and safety in work area. Participate in 2 Second Lean and 5S projects.   Preferred candidates will have: Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Office 365 products Ability to work well with others. Oral and written skills Ability to read blueprints and understand G D & T Working knowledge of various inspection equipment, including but not limited to: CMM's, micrometers, comparator, hardness testers, etc.   Position Requirements Requires ability to stand for periods of time. Requires ability to climb stairs and ladders. Requires ability to lift loads of up to 50lbs. Requires the ability of fine manipulation and grasping with hands. Requires the ability to perform repetitive motions with various limbs. Requires the ability to walk, climb, bend, squat, reach and kneel at various times throughout the work day.
