Residential Advocate

This is a full-time position and can be temporary, temp to perm, or a permanent position. The advocate provides survivor-centered, trauma-informed, culturally congruent and evidence-informed services and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking who are residing at the agency's emergency shelter.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a shift of 9am-5pm two days/week, and for 3 days of the week the shift is 1pm-9pm.

Duties include counseling (individual and group), case management and accompaniment services for clients' legal, immigration, entitlement and housing needs.

Position Requirements

MSW or BSW with two years experience in a related field.

Bilingual in Spanish or an Asian language is a plus.
