(SASSI) is seeking entry-level technicians to join a rapidly-growing team of system integration professionals. Helpers support our Lead Technicians to install and activate home automation systems, audio and video distribution, security alarm systems, and other low voltage systems. We will provide training opportunities for rapid advancement. Applicants must live within a one-hour commuting distance from our offices in Sterling, VA. PM 21   Responsibilities Assist in installing and troubleshooting a variety of low voltage electronic systems in residential settings during construction Monitor scheduled projects and maintain well-organized project notes using email and an electronic record keeping system Install and service electronic equipment such as televisions, audio distribution systems, surveillance cameras, security systems, and related electronic devices Speak with customers to determine the nature of problems or to explain repairs Instruct customers on the safe and proper use of equipment Keep records of work orders and maintenance reports Learn and follow communication protocols when encountering obstacles to completing assigned work Write and submit daily activity summaries Demonstrate genuine effort and personal pride in the assigned duties each day   Minimum Requirements Demonstrate a desire to learn new things every day in a fun and exciting industry Ability and willingness to work inside and outside homes, both finished and under construction, in all weather conditions Daily commute directly to the job site up to five days per week; commute to the Sterling, VA corporate office one morning per week Consistent availability Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one hour break; occasional overtime required depending on daily project schedule Ability to pass a background check to obtain Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) license Own and have the ability to use an industry standard tool set Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Professional demeanor and appearance, with ability to interact with clients in a professional manner Ability to lift at least 75 pounds without assistance Ability to stand and work on a ladder for at least 15 minutes at a time Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Have reliable transportation & good driving record   Preferred Qualifications One year of field experience in a technical trade   Compensation and Benefits Package Hourly wage based on experience Paid holidays and paid time off Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans Life insurance 401k with company match Employee Rewards Program Employee Discounts Professional Development Opportunities   Compensation Rate $12 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.
