We collaborate with healthcare providers around the world to provide medical devices that exceed customers' expectations and provide solutions for today's needs and tomorrow's growth.   Location TN - Metropolitan Nashville - Antioch   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift First   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Description POSITION SUMMARY: The qualified candidate for this position should be able to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for shipment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The individual must be capable of working independently and in a team setting supporting the Symmetry Surgical facility. Ships instruments, prepares shipments, boxes materials, labels with appropriate shipping information and completes appropriate paperwork. Receives instruments and verifies quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers by comparing merchandise to packing slips. Etches and marks instruments with company logo and item numbers as required. Ability to perform cycle counts Ability to safely operation powered lift vehicles (forklift, scissor-lift, etc.) Maintain a neat and orderly work area         Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals   Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:   •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training.   •Previous experience operating a powered lift truck (forklift, scissor-lift, etc.) preferred.       PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:       •Well lighted, heated/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation.     •Should be able to lift 50 pounds from one-third to two-thirds of the time.     •Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.     •Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.     •Ability to maneuver throughout the facility/facilities as needed.     •Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers.   •Ability to wear proper PPE   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
