Description

This role will work closely with the Sr. Supply Chain Planner to start the manufacturing process. Duties include pulling required raw materials to support the operations related to production of products being built in the Shop and assembled in the White Room areas, receiving incoming raw materials, maintaining the stock area, assisting with inventory and supporting the planning process. Looking for someone to take ownership of the process for picking, receiving of matierals and inventory.

Hours for position are 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive work order and print supporting documents for production packet.
  • Pull the raw materials needed for each work order and send to White Room or Shop.
  • Enter all raw materials electronically into Epicor to issue materials.
  • Remove all cleared raw materials from quarantine cage to shelves once released.
  • Transfer all newly completed products in the computer.
  • Follow protocol for non-conforming product by giving to the Quality Assurance Technician.
  • Verification of workorder to product, count and sign off operation completed prior to moving product to the next station.
  • Follow end of the shift cleaning process which includes floors, walls, and trash removal.
  • Monitor inventory levels and advises Sr. Supply Chain Planner of low inventories of product.
  • Organize storage of products to facilitate efficient picking of product for shipping customer shipments.
  • Ensure finished products are properly stored according to product label and inventory control procedures.
 
Position Requirements
  • Prior experience with medical instruments or manufacturing in a picking/inventory planning role
  • Strong computer skills
  • Prior experience with an ERP system
  • Prior experience with Epicor preferred
