Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Staffing & Employment Coordinator supports all effort relative to the recruitment, screening, and placement of new hires. Assists in the development of human resources related policies, programs and practices and is responsible for implementation and administration. Support organization’s human resources operations and engagement with heavy emphasis on talent acquisition and retention. In support of Endeavor’s mission, programs, strategies, services and talent needs, develop, organize, and administer volunteer and engagement services.

 

****This position is Full Time - Temporary. 

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborates with assigned Recruiters for the sourcing and recruitment for top talent. Provides support throughout the hiring process from job posting to selection of final candidates by collaborating with sourcing professionals to create effective recruitment campaigns. Collaborates with hiring managers to develop competency-based interview questions. Verifies credentials of potential hires. Maintains knowledge of market conditions and trends for business units. Maintains strong relationships with program leadership and the recruiting team to ensure a clear understanding of direction and match applicants to organizational needs.

Obtains and analyzes market data to determine internal equity and market competitiveness. Works with the recruiting team regarding the creation of new positions and the evaluation of multiple positions in a job family.

In conjunction with HR staff, supports the following talent and learning engagement initiatives and activities:

  • Onboarding
  • Compliance and Background Checks
  • New Employee Orientation
  • Off boarding

Works in partnership with the Human Resources (HR) team to ensure that all employment processing is accurate and timely. Provides general HR support as needed in various functions such as new employee orientation, new hire documentation processing, health benefit information for new hired employees, and other duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma required with experience and/or some college. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar discipline preferred,

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing and/or human resource administration.

Proven ability to motivate and manage individuals and staff groups.

Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with the general public and business communities on behalf of an organization.

Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Skilled in all Microsoft 365 products, virtual meeting platforms, and social media recruiting outlets.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team of diverse groups, staff, board, and committee members, volunteers, and other community constituents.

Demonstrated initiative and commitment to achieving and exceeding results.
