Position Summary:

The OPT supervisor provides clinical and administrative guidance for the program.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides administrative and clinical support for OPT program
  • Reviews assessments and assigns cases to clinicians
  • Coordinates weekly supervision(s)
  • Provides back-up support for client enrollment into Evolv; Alpha or any other MCO database on a daily basis
  • Serves as back-up support for updating insurance information-demographics; target pop in MCO databases
  • Daily reviews of service entries by clinicians
  • Completes and submits IRIS reports both internally and externally
  • DJJ Tracking and Attendance at monthly meetings
  • Maintains regular hours to provide clinical support
  • Serves as back-up for first responders- on a rotation basis
  • Participates in peer reviews; audits; and new staff orientation as needed
  • Works cooperatively with other professionals and community members to help facilitate a team-based approach
  • Fulfills all duties utilizing a person or family centered approach, in line with ESUCP's mission and philosophy.
  • Approves timesheets and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manages utilization review. Makes sure team is achieving productivity requirements and submitting authorization requests in a timely manner
  • Analyzes and manages team dynamics/processes to ensure a cohesive team consistently delivers clinically appropriate services
  • Hires, trains, and retains team lead and other required staff
  • Markets the program to all internal and external stakeholders and ensures a consistent referral stream
  • Monitors and assures that program is utilizing and delivering best practice and evidenced based services.
  • Conducts in-service trainings and coordinates outside trainings when needed
  • Serves as a back-up team leader when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will provide clinical and administrative support to outpatient program.

Equipment Used:

Computer, Microsoft Office Suite software (excel, word), phone, scanner, fax, cell phone.

Essential physical requirements:

  • Must possess the visual acuity to develop written correspondence and determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of talking, hearing, sitting for long periods of time and performing repetitive motions, such as using a computer.
  • Must be able to speak audibly, write legibly, and perform repetitive motions such as typing.
  • Must be able to perform light/moderate lifting and carrying, for items such as marketing materials and marketing displays.

 
Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be either a licensed or board eligible/provisional licensed professional (LPC, LPA, LMFT, OR LCSW).
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year documented experience with population
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license
