Description

Becky’s Pet Care, one of the largest and most highly regarded pet care providers in Northern Virginia, is currently seeking a full-time Client Operations Specialist (COS).

Becky’s Pet Care is the winner of multiple awards including the “Best Of” titles from the Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazines, as well as the “Angie’s List Super Service Award”.  As one of the largest pet care providers in Northern Virginia, this position offers the right candidate a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in many different aspects of our Client Operations department. This role is critical to the continued growth of BPC and is a valuable member of the Client Operations Team.

The COS is responsible for communications with employees providing pet care in the field, as well as current and prospective clients. The COS schedules services for clients, resolves issues on behalf of clients and employees, and works closely with other members of the Client Operations Team and Management.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Answer incoming calls

Respond to emails, voicemails, and other client communications

Answer questions and resolve issues according to company policy

Call clients and staff as needed

Onboard new clients

Ensure prompt and professional follow up with clients

Assist with Client Retention Programs

Schedule pet care services

Utilize various software systems to retrieve client and staff information

Go above and beyond to deliver a great experience to internal and external clients

Remain professional in all communications and in person

Monitor staff activity and database notifications

Carry out other administrative tasks including copying, filing, document creation, file creation, keys, and lockbox inventory

Substitute for pet care staff

Position Requirements

Must be a good listener with excellent verbal and written skills

Must be well spoken, confident, outgoing, and friendly

Must love animals and people

Must have strong computer skills including MS Office experience

Must be available for set office hours, including evening and weekend shifts

Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle
