This position is responsible for answering incoming customer inquiresfor the service department. They will be responsible for the creation of ROs and communicating with the designated onsite team member to ensure the customer is taken care of. They will need to be detail oriented as they are responsibleforidentifingthe problem(s) the customer has, clarifingany additional details needed, and collaboratingwith co-workers to provide any feedback required, and documenting it in the RO. Additional clerical responsibilities and related tasks may be required of the Service Coordinator. Previous service writing and/or boating/off-road experience beneficial! Responsibilities: Provide a high level of customer service with a friendly attitude Provide organized and detailed notes/messages Listens to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems and needs. Prepares repair orders (ROs) by recording stated problems, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into marina service database system. Maintains rapport with co-workers by accurately communicating needs of customers including services requested, timelines requested Provide customers with information such as our location addresses, websites, and other related information Evaluate customer satisfaction and ensure we are meeting quality standards for customer service   Position Requirements Able to provide a high level of customer service with a friendly attitude Proficient in communication skills and ability to understand information provided by the customer Needs strong work ethic including the ability to work with little direction and remain focused on the tasks at hand Able to provide organized and detailed notes Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Must be able to provide customers with information such as our location addresses, websites, and other related information Have knowledge of processes for providing customer services including customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction   Tags customer service, boating industry, off road industry, boat service, service writer   Position Receptionist   Location Business Office   About the Organization Thank you for applying to our Marina or Restaurant!
