As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for working on the I.T. team to support our network infrastructure and make sure things are running smoothly. You will be responsible for communication to and from vendors. You will work closely with other technicians who will train you to use company applications and equipment. You will be expected to work with a team, monitoring tickets and documenting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily help desk management through receipt, analysis and resolution of help desk tickets.
  • Provide PC repair and support for users on site as well as remote locations.
  • Provide first level support for networking and application issues; escalate complex problems to the appropriate groups or staff.
  • Preform basic SQL queries as requested by different departments.
  • Projects - Assist analysts, developers, and managers during system conversions.
  • Problem Solving - Dig into questions and problems as they arise through SQL queries and other resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • General Windows Desktop and Server Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems
  • Basic SQL query skills
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Active Directory
  • Networking skills including DHCP, DNS, and segmented networks
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause analysis
  • Network Documentation using Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with call center operations including work queues and dialing strategies
  • Experience with system conversions and implementations
  • Knowledge of a project management tool such as Jira Mac OS Support
