Assists Division Manager in the scheduling of crews, allocation of employee assignments, vehicles, equipment, materials and tools.
Dispatches crews and adjusts daily schedules as needed; reviews notes with crew leaders.
Works with foremen to inventory, identify and issue tools, equipment, and other assets to company personnel, documenting each issued item.
Coordinates and orders the delivery of supplies for maintenance crews such as mulch, fertilizer, seed, insecticides and pesticides.
Assists in the ordering, delivery and tagging of plant material for maintenance jobs.
Coordinates, oversees and undertakes (as needed) irrigation start-ups, minor repairs, check-ups and turn-offs for irrigation systems of maintenance clients.
Helps coordinate, facilitate and supervise additional services performed by maintenance crews such as fall mulching, integrated pest management and the flower pot rotation program.
Oversees the maintenance of supplies and materials in holding areas.
Facilitates scheduling of truck inspections and repairs and equipment repairs.
Administrative/Human Resources/Safety and Training
Assists in the on-going crew orientation and training/safety program and ensures that all crew members are trained according to company policy based on Company Handbook.
Supervises crew leaders and laborers. Ensures that crews are properly uniformed and accurately grouped each day and dispatched quickly and efficiently. Maintains contact with all assigned crews during the day and ensures that crews adhere to time clock and break time policies.
Ensures crew leaders' paperwork/computer entry is completed correctly at the end of each day (e.g., pesticide application records, service reports/exception reports, and time clock).
Ensures the timely and proper reporting and handling of employee job-related personnel or vehicle related accidents, injuries or illnesses. Ensures proper completion of all related paperwork.
Oversees the proper organization and maintenance of assigned assets and designated areas within the facility.
Assists Division Manager in maintaining appropriate workforce through hiring, lay-offs, and/or termination of Division employees; ensures that all employee paper work is completed and accurate.
Oversees the Division uniform inventory, purchase and distribution.
Maintains updated documentation for all crew leaders and other drivers (DOT medical cards, driver licenses, driver records)
Customer Service/Sales and Horticultural Oversight
Reviews and understands contractual obligations for all work which is assigned.
Communicates with clients on a regular basis to ensure that expectations are being met; responds to clients' concerns and requests in a timely manner.
Schedules appointments with existing and new clients to discuss enhancements and follows up with proposals
Coordinates and undertakes assessments of all properties according to an agreed-upon schedule discussed with Division Manager to ensure that quality is upheld and communication is consistent.
Helps coordinate communication to crews regarding property tasks and oversees efforts of assigned crews to ensure top quality service.
Supports Division marketing and sales efforts (i.e. Neighbor-to-Neighbor)
Reports to the Division Manager
Coordinates and works in tandem with other Account Manager(s) in the Maintenance Division
Coordinates as needed with other Divisions
Helps the Operations Manager manage Crew Leaders and assists in coordination of Crew Members.
Coordinates with Vice President for Operations regarding the buying, selling and maintenance of tools and equipment
