POSITION SUMMARY

This position serves primarily external customers; however, responsibilities also include serving internal customers whenever the opportunity presents itself.                                                                                                                                           

This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the ATM/debit card program, credit card referral program, and merchant services referral program.  This includes monitoring these services, reporting, new product research and development, assisting with marketing efforts, monitoring regulatory updates, working with vendors and management on product implementations and/or product retirements, and assisting customers with questions related to card services.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong Microsoft Suite aptitude, specifically Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and errors, and exercise resourcefulness
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, including vendors
  • Ability to manage a project from inception to completion
  • Ability to work both independently and in group settings
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee ATM/debit card program
  • Oversee credit card referral program
  • Oversee merchant services referral program
  • Monitor inventory of debit card stock
  • Track card progress, income, charges, and usage through monthly reports and spreadsheets
  • Develop and conduct ongoing product knowledge for new and existing card products, services and procedures and assist with training as needed
  • Develop and coordinate a marketing program for new and existing card programs  
  • Manage updates to existing card services as well as implementation of new card solutions as they become available
  • Research and analyze various card solutions
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of operating rules and regulations provided by vendor as they relate to FNBB and the various card programs
  • Maintain vendor relationships with card production vendor and monitor quality of products
  • Assist merchant services customers at their business location(s) as well as remotely
  • Assist with customer calls
  • Gain broad knowledge of bank products and services offered to assist with customer service
  • Attend required staff meetings
