Description

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of The Director of Partial Care Services is responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of the Partial Care Program are conducted in as efficient an effective manner is accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:37E.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides direct supervision to Case Manages and Partial Care Counselors and conducts formal and documented supervision on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for managing and approving the timesheets in NovaTime for the Care Managers and Partial Care Counselors.
  • Works with the Director of Partial Care Services to insure that all Management Functions for the Partial Care Program are completed as defined by N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.7.
  • Works with the Director of Partial Care Services and the Partial Care Staff to ensure that the Partial Care Program .provides a Therapeutic Environment as defined by N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.9.
  • Acts as a liaison to other service providers both within and external to Catholic Charities as needed to coordinate care for the Partial Care Clients.
  • Works with the Director of Partial Care Services to hire staff in the Partial Care Program and ensures that the hired staff meets the criterial for the specific position as defined in N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.10.
  • Works in conjunction the Director of Partial Care Services to ensure that the Partial Care Staff are thoroughly trained in the responsibilities of their job and have the resources to complete their job functions.
  • Completes probationary and annual performance evaluations for the Partial Care Staff in accordance with Catholic current policies.
  • Works in conjunction with Director of Partial Care Services to appropriately facilitate any staff disciplinary action of the Partial Care staff, ensuring that the process adheres to Catholic Charities current policies.
  • Ensures that clients admitted to the Partial Care Program meet the admission criteria as per N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.1.
  • Insures that individual Recovery Plans are completed in accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.4.
  • Ensures that Partial Care services are delivered and documented in accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:37F-2.5 Catholic Charities Clinical Policies and Procedures.
  • Completes and submits Quarterly Census Monitoring Reports for the Partial Care Program that is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Maintains a client caseload of 33% of that of a Partial Care Counselor.
  • Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Director of Partial Care Services.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Provides supervision to the Partial Care Direct Service Staff.

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  any of the following:

A master's degree in a mental health, rehabilitation or human services field;

or a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health services;

or possess a relevant professional credential, such as: licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed associate counselor, licensed rehabilitation counselor, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, licensed psychologist, or master of science in nursing.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED:  Valid driver’s license is required.

MANDATED PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of essential learning online training as deemed appropriate by Catholic Charities.
