Customer Care Representative 


Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Bi-Lingual Customer Care Representative to assist consumer's using our services. The Customer Care Representative is responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, data entry, sending faxes, processing mail and payments and provides services to meet the needs of the consumers and staff.

The hours for this position are:

  • Monday: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
  • Thursday: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Essential Job Duties:

  • Answers phones, direct and screen calls, and take accurate messages.
  • Interacts positively with staff and clients, greets visitors and is attentive and responsive to reception activity.
  • Schedules clinic appointments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word and the ability to type 45wpm.
  • Checks consumers in for appointments and promptly notifies provider of their arrival.
  • Requests and receives payment for self-pay or co-pay consumers.
  • Handles information as appropriate, maintaining confidentiality to Center standards.
  • Processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.
  • Protects confidential information; verifying existence of appropriate releases.
  • Photocopies requested materials as needed.
  • Verify insurances and demographics update
Position Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a medical clinic office setting preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Requires the ability to travel between Center locations as to accommodate the needs of the Center.
  • Ability to speak, write and read Spanish/English - a plus.
  • Communicate in a direct and appropriate manner to a variety of staff, consumers and other service providers.
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential and consistent manner.
  • Ability to interact positively with staff and clients.
  • Ability to adapt easily and readily to changing environment and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently or with others.
  • Demonstrated accuracy with detailed work.
  • Possesses knowledge of general business practices.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment including computer system.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Hours Schedule is Monday - Friday and performed between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and is based on needs of facility supported.
