Client Support Specialist 

Description

This position assists operations by providing direct support for all charitable giving vehicles (DAF, TRUST, SNT, etc.). Ensure the timely and highly accurate establishment of new accounts, charity grant approval, mailroom operations, client and charity phone support. Handle other service requests including invoicing and document review/storage. Provide additional time-sensitive support for Giving Season and Tax Season projects including additional duties and additional hours of operation to include weekend hours as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective service to internal and external clients through phone calls and emails
  • Set up new accounts for multiple client types according to each client’s specific requirements
  • Enter grant data, conduct charity vetting, prepare charity legal packets for technical review, follow up with charity contacts to ensure eligibility for granting
  • Provide specialized support for strategic level clients
  • Support department operations to include mail processing, mail distribution, scanning and indexing of electronic documents independently.
  • Manage specific correspondence programs for new accounts
  • Provide professional and secure phone and email correspondence to charities, donors, and advisors for account access and information
  • Incoming/outgoing service request follow-up
  • Process daily/weekly/monthly reports to discover and act on errors or exception reporting
  • Compile, review, and send client correspondence
  • Assist other departments as necessary providing administrative support
  • Perform other work as required

 

 
Position Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Associates degree, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Data entry and/or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and organization skills
  • Experience in financial or legal services, office administration, and customer service strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office suite experience
