Seeking to hire a Full-Time Program Manager for the Strive Program

Job summary

  • Provides direct supervision to assigned staff in order to enhance their clinical skills sets, leadership qualities and administrative functions
  • Provides on-going support to staff to assure completion of job responsibilities
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies, applicable laws and governmental regulatory agencies
  • Reviews staff responsibilities to determine time frame and scope of authority, reviews staffing requirements, and allotments of available resources
  • Evaluates staff productivity and documentation of service delivery
  • Confers with staff to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Assures new staff, students and volunteers receive departmental orientation and required training
  • Conducts individual supervision and team meetings
  • Assesses/evaluates clients at admission, during ongoing service delivery and at discharge; collaborates with treatment providers to establish comprehensive assessments and service plans
  • Engages clients in services and accesses/addresses their needs; assesses medication compliance; provides linkages to substance abuse services, family consultation, crisis intervention and vocational/educational/employment services; includes client feedback in all interventions and utilizes a Strengths based perspective; provides comprehensive services based on Risk of Hospitalization assessment when applicable 
  • Records the following information in the client’s record; assessments, service plans, progress notes (DAP format) and discharge summaries, with all entries authenticated and dated; works with administrative staff to ensure that all services are documented based on billing and regulatory standards; collects information on consumers' insurance and reflects all demographic data 
  • Manages client interviews and service plans/curriculum
  • Represents the Agency at quarterly networking conferences and trainings, as applicable
