Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 / yr.  Location: Remote – Work from home Status: Salaried, Exempt Job Summary eCatalyst Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Master Patient Index (MPI) Manager. The Master Patient Index (MPI) Manager will oversee and participate in the planning, implementation, and execution of Master Patient Index (MPI) engagements. The Master Patient Index (MPI) Manager will draw from their background and thorough understanding of project management principles and healthcare-related projects to plan, monitor, track, communicate, and measure the project’s status within the overall contract.  We are looking for someone to own the project, drive the team toward success, and enjoys working with a diverse and professional team. Primary Scope of Responsibilities  Provide overall management for the implementation and integration of the MPI.  Perform management duties including, coordination with multiple contractors and stakeholders to successfully support the configuration, implementation, and integration of the MPI. Provide detailed testing on systems and data that the MPI will impact. Participate and provide input for data governance and data quality for the MPI. Manage MPI documentation and oversee the timely delivery of documentation. Manage the overall MPI Plan and present updates to eCatalyst and other stakeholders regularly. Efficiently communicate to eCatalyst leadership, the status of the engagement including project successes and project risks via daily status reports and on calls. Provide notes and minutes of regularly scheduled calls, meetings, and documentation of any other appropriate or related activities. Assist with the recruitment, assessment, and selection of MPI staff. Provide leadership, training, and coaching to MPI staff.  Work with stakeholders to refine the project, project plan, deployment, resources, schedule, and other tasks as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications Management experience that includes the deployment and optimization of a Master Patient Index (MPI) across multiple data sources. Ability to effectively communicate in English - verbally and in writing. Ability to interact and translate between technical staff, clients, vendors, and eCatalyst management regarding business and information technology needs. Demonstrated listening and problem resolution skills. Refined analytical skills and critical thinking skills. Ability to be flexible, multi-task and work within deadlines. Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Preferred Qualifications  Experience performing a Management role on Information Technology projects, preferably in Master Data Management or Master Person Index projects. Communication expertise related to management tasks such as reporting engagement status, milestones, achievements, and risks. Expertise utilizing Microsoft Office (M365) products, especially Excel. Experience facilitating a variety of different types of meetings with different stakeholders. Verifiable experience utilizing privacy and security technologies and methodologies, such as data encryption, HIPAA, patient consent / patient consent management, or patient identification.
