Seeking to hire a Full Time (12 months) Clinician for Manchester Regional High School in Haledon

Job summary

  • Assesses and/or evaluates clients at intake and/or admission, during ongoing treatment and/or service delivery, and at discharge/transfer
  • Responds to clients for crisis intervention
  • Functions within an interdisciplinary team in the assessment and/or evaluation of clients, articulates verbally and in written documentation the integration of client history and assessment information.
  • Provides leadership within the team, collaborates on initiatives to engage and serve youth, documents services in the clinical record, engages in inter-organizational care coordination, and documents service outcomes
  • Formulates psychosocial treatment plans, with relevant goals, behaviorally-measurable objectives that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement
  • Plans, communicates and documents discharge/aftercare/transfer plans for clients completing treatment and/or accessing other services in the continuum
  • Documents assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries in the clinical record, with all entries authenticated and time/dated
  • Participates in weekly team case conferences and trainings, as needed
  • Provides direct clinical services and supportive interventions, including case management, linkage to community resources, and provides inter-agency coordination of treatment
  • Engages in inter-organizational care coordination

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Documented knowledge of at least one (1) year work experience with children and adolescent population
  • Prof. License as required by program (LSW or LAC)
  • Bilingual Required (Spanish)
  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance
