As the Concierge Manager at Edgewood Tahoe, you serve as the guest liaison for both hotel and non-hotel services. You supervisor the Concierge team while supporting a wide range of marketing activities for Edgewood Tahoe’s world-class offerings and occasionally may assist the Front Desk or PBX as needed. The Concierge team is expected to provide concise and accurate directions, make reservations for activities (both on-premise and off-premise) such as dinner reservations, arranging transportation, obtaining event tickets, etc. using approved vendor contacts and businesses to fulfill any requests a guest may have. You must possess a strong eye for detail, excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to work within tight deadlines and is comfortable working independently. Welcome guests and confirm reservations.
Build rapport with guests and provide them with genuine guidance and support.
Understand guests’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel.
Have or acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request.
Answer the phone and make reservations.
Create and prepare daily itineraries for incoming guests.
Provide guests with information about attractions, facilities, services, and activities in or outside the property.
Make guest reservations for transportation and event tickets.
Assist Marketing in organizing special guest activities/ events as directed.
Process messages for guests and coordinate delivery.
Stay current and up to date with all hotel services as well as daily VIP requests and special events.
Review arrival and coordinate special occasion notes and amenities.
Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
Coordinate guest requests for special services or equipment with the appropriate department.
Handle guest recovery and solve problem to the degree possible.
