  • Plan, organize, and manage assigned captures
  • Lead major capture and proposal efforts to successful completion
  • Develop the overall capture strategy, internal and external partnerships, business plans, and marketing
  • Assist with driving technical and management solutions
  • Lead and facilitate win strategy development sessions, including technical, management, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing, etc.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to develop solutions that offer customers recognized value, are price competitive and executable.
  • Prepare and lead Gate Reviews.
  • Coordinate resources required for the pursuit of opportunities, develop and improve upon processes.
  • Lead and coordinate competitive assessments, determining the strengths and weaknesses both internally and of potential competitors.
Position Requirements

Requirements include:


  • Minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated product sales, business development, capture management, and proposal experience within one of the following markets: Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Civilian.
  • Desired experience includes business development and sales of software, data platforms, AI/ML technology, or application and infrastructure technology.
  • Knowledge, experience, and success in capture process are required, including demonstrable understanding of all contract types (non-IDIQ, IDIQ - single or multiple award contracts) as well as payment types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus).
  • Effective account management including planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, opportunity management, pipeline management and deal negotiation.
  • Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision makers
  • Ability to work in fast-changing environment and manage ambiguity, while solving customer problems through products.
  • Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities
  • Ability to position long term strategic solutions.
  • Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.
  • Ability to overcome and work around problems with a positive approach to solving, learning and developing.
