Share Email Opening Title Embedded Systems Engineer  Astronics Subsidiary Custom Control Concepts   Location Kent, WA   Description Astronics Custom Control Concepts (Astronics CCC) designs, engineers, manufactures and certifies reliable digital in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems (IFE/CMS) for the corporate, private and VIP aircraft industry. We also offer customized graphical user interfaces accessible on our touchscreens, allowing seamless and intuitive control of the IFE/CMS system.   The Embedded Systems Engineer will be responsible for: Configuring systems functions for aircraft. Developing interfaces and code to control embedded systems that interface to GUIs Producing efficient and reusable code based on requirements Developing, testing and deploying programs and applications Troubleshoot, debuggin, maintaining and improving existing software Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products Ensuring continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software Revisiting the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns   Position Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering   Experience Deep knowledge of one or more C, C#, C++ or Java, python Deep knowledge of one or more OS, LINUX, Windows, Android, iOS Networking protocols HTTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP, L2, L3, and good understanding of switching and routing Network application development experience Embedded systems/software development experience Ability to handle a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment with quickly changing priorities and requirements Ability to figure out complex issues that could span, software, network and hardware.
