Our ideal applicant's organizational and creative skills are vital in managing our online inventory and leading the design of our social media campaigns to increase our digital sales. The E-Commerce Marketing Manager will manage and optimize our campaigns using marketing and SEO strategies and measure how much they increase web traffic using analytics tools. This position requires a "hands-on" attitude, insightful attention to process and detail, and the ability to apply detailed knowledge to actionable insights and recommendations as they relate to our growth strategy.


While we prefer applicants with a bachelor's degree, it is more important to have experience and success managing a digital store or inventory of products.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Possess strong knowledge of the eCommerce space, including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends
  • Cultivate standards, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings to develop, monitor, write and update product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals
  • Support product management and conduct listing optimization to ensure the correct product information, and pricing, including detailed maintenance and improvement of listings (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase product ranking
  • Harness sales-related insights, best-in-class standards, and cutting-edge development to encourage sales in our online store
  • Assist with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and ensure promotional offers are updated correctly
  • Work with Operations to manage online inventory, analyze sales data to predict future sales, and forecast stock requirements.
  • Work across departments in Finance, Systems, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales to make sure any back-end cases are resolved promptly
  • Collaborate with Copywriters and Graphic Designers to ensure careful adherence to strategy and brand architecture.
  • Manage day to day operations of company website and e-comm partner sites
  • Translate insights into dashboards, graphics, and summaries to share with cross-functional partners & leadership every week and provide recommendations for areas of growth using marketplace performance metrics
  • Monitor all channels for errors, alerts, inquiries, and MAP violations
  • Work within identified budgets to develop successful advertising campaigns
  • Work with Customer Service to review customer feedback and marketplace health to make recommendations as needed.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Evaluate feedback and translate into requirements and business process improvements
  • Work independently with minimal direction and demonstrate robust prioritization skills
  • Embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Proficient knowledge of contemporary digital marketing, eBusiness, eCommerce, UI/UX, and general website best practices
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, MailChimp, Infusionsoft, etc. as well as familiarity with website back-ends like Big-Commerce
  • Manages YouTube Studio, Google Business, Search Console, Merchant Center and Ads
  • Manage Email Campaigns to help generate leads
  • SQL or database querying experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of general ERP systems and manufacturing processes


E-Commerce Specialist Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Business, Information Systems, or comparable experience managing a digital store or inventory of products
  • 4 – 6 years required minimum experience
  • Experience in Sales and Consumer Products is preferred
  • Experience working to optimize a suppliers’ performance within a retailers’ digital shelf or website is preferred
  • Demonstrable track record of creating sales-enhancing strategies
  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce
  • Excellent market research skills
  • Skilled data analysis and reporting
  • Written recommendations required
