Position Practice Manager - PCMH Clinics  

The Practice Manager manages the daily operations of the Perry County Memorial Hospital Provider Clinic(s), including ancillary services at assigned sites. This role is responsible for staffing, scheduling, patient and customer satisfaction, compliance, employee engagement and will assist in budget development and monitoring. Regular travel between clinic sites and the hospital is required. Unusual hours may be required from time-to-time.

The Practice Manager reports to the Vice President Clinic Operations and works closely with other Practice Managers/Clinical Nurse Managers and the Medical Director. This individual will assist the Vice President of Clinic Operations with the operations of the organization by playing an integral role on the administrative team for the oversight, vision and future planning of the clinics with structured training and coordination of initiatives and must have good customer service skills, analytical skills, and strong leadership/management skills coupled with understanding of accounting and revenue cycle principles. A working knowledge of OSHA, Infection Control, Compliance, Risk Management, Quality and Continuous Improvement and Safety, is highly desirable.

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field with Master's degree preferred.  A combination of applicable years of experience and applied health care knowledge will be considered.
  • Licensure/Certification - Must have a valid LPN or RN license in Indiana, and current in CPR with ability to provide copies of certification for personnel records, including renewals.
  • (3) years of progressive healthcare management experience including knowledge of needs and behaviors of ages served.
  • (2) years’ leadership experience.
  • Prior multi-site clinic management experience, preferred.
  • LEAN trained, a plus.
  • Proficient EMR knowledge of various medical office softwares (Athena), word processing, outlook and excel.
